Today, we’re living in one of the craziest seller’s markets I have ever seen. You would think this means now is a great time to sell your home, but a lot of clients have told me they’re worried they won’t be able to find a great home once they’ve sold. Can you still find a great home in today’s market?
From personal experience, the answer is definitely yes. We’ve helped loads of clients seamlessly transition from selling their old home to living in their new home. They didn’t have to settle for something they didn’t really want, and they didn’t have to pay way out of budget to do it.
For example, we had a recent client who needed to sell before they could purchase their new home. However, in today’s hot market, it’s really difficult to get your offer accepted if it’s contingent on you selling your home. To get around this, we leveraged the hot market in our client’s favor. We found them a great buyer who paid above the asking price, and we negotiated the deal so that our client could continue to live in their old home while they searched for a new one.
We’ve also helped negotiate terms where the seller was able to sell their home and close on their new home on the same day. This can be tricky to pull off, but my team has plenty of experience in these situations.
